UNIT BA KETBALL TEAM The Notre Dame Netter Club, coached by LT Wachtl and SKC Darrah, competed in the annual Great Lakes Basketball Tournament on March 21 and 22. After losing the first game in the double elimination tournament to Miami fOhioJ, the team went on to win its next four games. The final loss was to Minnesota, which resulted in a fourth place finish for the team. They also competed in the Pur- due lnvitational on March 31. Next year should be a good year with many upperclassmen returning for another season. Reilly calls Nothin' but net then cans it!! During the fall semester the Battalion gets together on Fri- day afternoons for a friendly game of flag footballq The turn- out this year was usually real good and many different mem- bers of the Battalion got a chance to compete against each other. The four companies struggled against each other ev- ery Friday for many weeks but in spite of many competitive feelings everyone had fun and realized it was the playing of the game and not just a victory which made the afternoon fun. But WINNING wasn't bad either. 22 MIDN 2!C Michael Barron doesn't seem to agree with the play called by MIDN 110 Scott Cade. 'Q
