THE WOMEN OF NOTRE DAME. In the fall of 1972, females were integrated into a previously all-male campus, and in the past sixteen years they have certainly made their mark. Now, seeing girls talk- ing with friends, running by the lake, preparing for an SYR, or studyi ng on the Notre Dame campus is considered a com- mon sight.
