What really adds a touch of class to Notre Dame is the people. When you come to Notre Dame, you really do become a member of the Notre Dame family. Though the ties of this family may become strained, as they can be in any family, there is a bond that makes Notre Dame a special place. This bond can be seen in the many hours of volunteer work students put in each week or just in the spirit of the people, the spirit that makes students go out of their way to help a stranger push his car out of a snowbank or sacrifice some of their own time to make sure a friend is ready for a big test. Being a part of Notre Dame means sharing in this spirit and keeping it with you for the rest of your life. 8 Openlng
