-- FRESHMEN AND THEIR PARENTS are led through a whirlwind of events. Inevitable lines form everywhere in the oaf, at registration, in the bookstore. All too soon the daily ritual begins: up with the bell, off to class, study. Obtaining a permit to Register is the first step in the registration ceremony. From here the student proceeds to the next line to have his I.D. picture taken.

ACTIVITIES NIGHT: The ritual continues as the initiators and catechumens confront one another on opposite sides of symbolically labyrinthian lines of tables; the theme of registration is echoed. Chicago Clubmen rush to complete their booth before the rush begins. Thirty-five clubs and organizations participated in Activities Night.
