The 1982-1983 academic year will mark the department’s 75th anni- versary. Numerous special activities arc planned. The UNI Gallery of Art hosts a vari- ety of art exhibits from all over the nation. The Docents, a volunteer group, regularly offers tours of the gallery. UNI’s art department is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design, which is the accredi- tation agency for colleges and universi- ties in the nation. Academics
