Mike keeps Suzy from going to find the doll where the heroin is hidden. Cast Advised In Wait Until Dark For UNFs first summer produc- tion of the season the entire cast went to Iowa’s School for the Bind in Vinton to see the special problems blind people have. They were blind- folded and used walking sticks to give them a better idea of what it is like to be blind. The Vinton staff also came to UNI to serve as technical advisors for the production. The play is about a beautiful young blind girl, Suzy Cunningham, who unwillingly gets cast in a drug scandal. Below, Carlino disguises himself as an officer as he prevents Suzy from making a phone call to police. Rost threatens to kill Suzy. The Year 13

 Anything Goes At UNI “Anything Goes” was one theatre production in the eleventh summer of UNI. The UNI Lyric Theatre and the theater department worked to- gether to present this musical. This play is a 30’s musical performed on a ship. It was UNI’S very own Love Boat complete with romance and love. The cast had to take daily dance classes because dancing, espe- cially tap dancing, was performed throughout the play. Cathy Nelson, Earl Maulding, and Greg Baum meet on deck. 12 The Year

Students Compete In Olympics This year’s Homecoming Olympics took place on October 24 at the UNI soccer field. Residence hall houses and other groups competed in the stork race, egg toss, tug-of-war, pyramid making, bat relay, banana eating, and pie eating contests. The winning team was awarded a 16 gallon keg of beer, while second and third place teams each received a pony keg. 14 The Year
