PSYCHOLOGY The Department of Psychology at UNI has the philos- ophy that you can best understand the subject matter of psychology through direct experience. Many courses in the department have laboratories in which students have opportunity to collect and analyze data bearing on questions of personal interest. The department offers a liberal arts and teaching major. Both of these programs are designed to aquaint the student with psychology as a discipline and with the methods and problems involved in psychological inquiry. Left to Right: Albert R.
