CLASS ORGANIZATION THE class of 1913 demonstrated its progres- siveness by adopting a new plan of organiza- tion this year. The most objectionable fea- ture of the old manner of organizing was that it was almost impossible to get the entire class of over three hundred students together at one time. In order to overcome this difficulty, President Seerley devised a new scheme which he suggested to the class at its first meeting early in the fall. His plan was to have the Seniors of each department organize independently and conduct such business as was necessary. This would do away with the necessity of having a meeting of the whole Senior class more than once or twice during the year. When such meetings were held, the president of the A. B. class was to act as presiding officer. President Seerley’s plan was adopted and has been highly successful, since the business has been more easily taken care of and a greater class spirit has been created. 24
