University Hospital. Completed in 1958, the 74-bed hospital is equipped with examination and treatment rooms, X-ray and lab facilities and offices for the two full-time physicians, Dr. L. O. Hayes and Dr. Frank K. Thompson. During the long session, nine nurses, a lab teclmician and an X-ray technician are required full time to main- tain a 24-hour operation. Registration fees cover service of a physician and board and room while a student is ill in the hospital. Director of Foods Service. Miss Sadie Kate Bass has the often meaty job of supervising purchases of food and equipment for dormitory kitchens. Assisted by a staff of 13, she oversees the handling of food and menus in each dorm.
