University life is seldom pictured to he more than a series of mental traffic jams, but it is much more than this. It is an intramural football game in grimy sweat shirts. It is a job at which one Works his Way through school. lt is the pleasant sensation of reaching a goal by using one's mind. lt is conver- sation with friends or a study session at the pond on a pleasant afternoon. lt is a special date at the last minute. It is a lingering kiss or a brush of lips across a cheek at twilight. Worries and headaches caused by a coed's multitudinous activities all seem to subside as a uniformed guy, on a clear fall night, stops with his girl in a shadowy spot on campus.

Relaxation assumes every conceivable form from sleeping to ping-ponging the hours away, as this pair demonstrates at the Baptist Student Union. Left: Art, finding no beauty in an oppressive classroom, moves outside at the slightest quiver of an autumn leaf. Bottom right: A tap dancing class in physical education almost removes the dance from the realm of art to exercise.
