The Eagles lost a hard football tussle with Kentucky, one of the nations best. and returned to wallop their traditional foe, East Texas State, 42-20. Registration got top billing with cam- pusites in September. Registration: endless lines . . . How many hours are you taking? . . . agronomy majors to the left . . . This class is closed . . . Where's your communist pledge? . . . Sorry, it's lunch time. Come back this afternoon. . . . etc. But there was plenty of time to relax at dances on the Slab and at the Club- house, parties for freshmen, pep rallies, the Saturday Night Stage show, and Church.
