Direc+or of Placemeni' Direcfor of Teacher Training Director of Gradua+e School E. H. Farring1'on This 'Liob getter compares the Place- ment Office to a stockroom disposing of a factory product-in this case, trained teachers graduating from the college. Because he believes in the quali- ty of the product he handles, the place- ment percentage for his office leads the list of all similar institutions with a bet- ter than 98 percent placement average. J. C. MaHhews When he used to be a Deputy State Supervisor, Dr. C. Matthews literally urode every trail in the Lone Star State. His job took him into practically every small town in the country. May- be that's how he learned the business of dealing with people and problems, so essential to his job as Director of Teacher Training. L. A. Sharp Graduate students look to Dr. L. A. Sharp for direction. He has been head of the graduate department and chair- man of the graduate council since its establishment in 1935, the first year that a master's degree was otfered by the college.
