Yeah, welcome Honor System lectures, the Activities Session, and free flicks all constitute integral parts of the Carolina Orientation Program. This year the Orientation Com- mittee, headed by Chairman David Parker, worked from February until September in planning the six days of meetings, activities, and tours which com- posed the introduction to the UNC campus and the Carolina Way of Life. The complete organization included 275 student counselors and various coordi- nators of the committee itself, including: Tom Over- man, Men; Belinda Foy, Women; Marcy Klingel, Foreign Students; and Glenn Johnson, Graduate Stu- dents. The planning and administration of the Orien- tation Committee helped over 2,300 new Carolina students get adjusted to the customs and traditions of our university. Yes, boys, there is a story to this statue . . .
