Student Art League The Student Art League was a new or- ganization on the UNC-W scene this year. lts purpose was to serve as good will am- bassadors of the Art Department and keep students informed of the events in the de- partment. This year the league was occupied with 45:5 assisting the Traveling Shows that were ex- A hibited in Kenan Hall and also assisted with the receptions given with each show. During December, the Student Art League had its first show and sale that not only provided needed funds for the league but was a good outlet for student work and at ' the same time gave students the opportuni- ty to pick up some good inexpensive masterpieces, It is the hope of the club to take on more proiects in the future which will not only benefit its members, but everyone con- nected with UNC-W.
