The Inter-Fraternity Council is composed of elected representatives from the three social fraternities on the University of North Carolina at Wilmington campus. It is formed to provide an effective organ of communication among the fraternities for organizational and problem solve ing purposes. It gives the fraternities a united voice with which to express opinions on campus policies. The council organizes the Greek games, football and track in the fall, softball and track in the spring, and produces the IFC dances which are a social highlight of the school year. The Panhellenic Council on campus is composed of two National Panhellenic Council groups, the Gamma Kappa Chapter of Phi Nlu and Zeta Tau Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha.
