Long Lines And Conflicting Schedules Frustrate Registering Students Registration can be best described as the Reign of Confusion. It is a process timing which we stand in line for two hours to get an IBM card that shows us we are in the wrong course at the wrong time. Coming at the end of the semester, it serves as a preview of the informative and necessary, but often unpleasant, courses required of us all. Registration is, in reality, more than all this — it is the growing conviction that we are going slowly but surely out oi our minds, and the still small hope that maybe next semester it will lie better. es. Vbruptly, the campus becomes a model of disorder as an endless line of carsunloadsm Ltains of boxes and luggage into the dorms. Once there it is Forgotten as the new roommates welcome each other and discuss the adventures of the summer. Finally, all the hello ' s are said, the unpacking done, the mom arranged, and the parents on their way; we settle down to enjoy our new room, new roommate, and our new status.
