SERVICE LEAGUE The Service League strives to aid those who are less fortunate in this country and abroad. The Purse Drive, a combination Care, Cancer, Heart, Foreign Student, World University Ser vice Contribution Fund, is conducted each year. Active participation is urged by dorm and class rivalries. CONSOLIDATED UNIVERSITY COUNCIL The Consolidated University Council of the University of North Carolina is a body of students representing the joint interests of the 17,000 students in the three schools which constitute the Greater University. The Council is not a governing body and has no legislative authority other than over projects initiated by the Council itself.
