In Memoriam In grateful appreciation for those lasting qualities she un- consciously imparted to all who knew her, we honor the memory of Nancy Lee Kiser, Class of 1958. Observing her quiet actions and words, we were ever influenced and in- spired by Nancy ' s wholehearted love for our college . . . her loyal service through class activities as Jacket Chairman and as a vital member of many other committees . . . her leader- ship in the dorm, showing a profound understanding and interest in each individual . . . Nancy ' s unassuming devotion and leadership in the Y, Interfaith Activities, Baptist Stu- dent Union and in her reorganization of the Chapel Com- mittee . . . her numerous activities and friendships, to each of which she gave a real part of herself. Perhaps above all else, Nancy ' s many friends were in- fluenced by her honesty, sincerity and depth of character. A living memory exists of her fresh insights, her ever-present curiosity and honestly-asked Why? her desire to find the answers combined with the courage to seek them, Nancy ' s strength in defending and fighting for those things she be- lieved to be right, and her faith and trust in those things eternal. For these reasons, and for many, many more which words are powerless to express fully, we will always be grateful for the rich opportunities we shared in knowing, respecting and loving Nancy Lee Kiser.
