Long for those homecooked meals ' ? No curfew hour? How about a lounge of your own with TV for that between classes time? These are but a few of the advantages of being a Town Student. There are, unfortunately, the disadvantages of rising in the wee small hours to return that overnight reserve book or of returning from the comfort of home for those required meetings. All this and more make up the dual existence of a Town Student. The social year of the Town Students Organization was launched with a tea for the new students last September. Other social highlights have ranged from the weekly coffee hours to a Halloween costume party. Although living at home, the Town Students are an integral part of campus life. Their participation in Student Government, Service League, and the literary, dramatic, and musical efforts ol the campus has been a vital one. At pluy in the soda shop, gossip is the topic; relaxation, the issue at hand for town students. Work, or at least debating it, Chris, Marietta, Barb Sandy and her departure Page 29
