IV ' ind Counselors The house presidents, whose primary concern was the furtherance of our well-being through our acceptance of the ideals of student government, were never too busy to answer our myriad questions, help us plan our dorm social events, bring us the latest rule changes from Student Legislature and generally keep things running smoothly. It was she who beckoned us forth to hall board when we wished we had remembered to file a permission slip; it was her good- natured acceptance of a ducking in the shower; and they were her footsteps we heard on the stairs after her nightly ritual of bolting the doors and checking to see that everyone in the dorm family was safely tucked in for the night that made us love her. Counselors and house presidents, your efforts to help us: anyone, anywhere, anytime, deserve heartfelt thanks. We will not soon forget you.

House Presidents ( )ur counselors and house presidents — as we like them. It was their thoughtful- ness and concern for our well-being and happiness that prevailed and brought adaptation, harmony, and order to dormitory life. Our counselors, always genuinely interested in us, never failed us when we needed a wise and sympathetic listener to help us solve our problems. They were right there to congratulate us on our personal successes and triumphs. Of course, there were those times when mother counselor faced us with her formidable frown occasioned by our negligence of the reasonable quiet at all times rule or by our attempts to make off with the kitchen equipment, but inwardly smiling right along with us.
