For the 1949 Pine Needles, we have tried to show those things which Woman ' s College has come to mean to us. It is no l onger an institution which has set out to cram facts and job-knowledge into 2200 girls; it is community in which we must find our places and to whose on-going each individual must contribute. By junior and senior year we think that we are W. C. Then on rare occasions like Alumnae Day we know we ' re just a few in the endless stream of W. C. students and we are grateful for having had our four years here.
