ELIZABETH MclVER WEATHERSPOON Because Mrs. Weatherspoon lived among us, it will be easier at the College to stand for genuineness as opposed to sham, and for ac- curate, as opposed to slipshod work; to culti- vate the beautiful as opposed to the crude; to further what is generous and high-minded as opposed to what is petty and cheap. We believe she would ask no higher memorial. MISS VIOLA BODDIE Miss Viola Boddie lived by the same pre- cepts she taught and her high standards pro- fessional and personal were attained with characteristic perseverance. Her keen sense of humor, ready wit, clever philosophy, and impartial judgment made her loved and ad- mired by the hundreds she taught.
