STUDENT COUNCIL The Student Council is the governing body of Char- lotte College; its membership is made up of class officers and committee chairmen. It has sponsored many activities during the year. The Student Council can be thanked for organizing and operating the Owl ' s Roost. Under the capable guidance of Mrs. Edyth Winning- ham, the Student Council has been led in the direction nf building a better Charlotte College. Her leadership and determination ha e been the Spark for many new ideas for furthering the well being of Charlotte Col- lege and its student bodv. We appreciate tlie help of our facuhy adxiser, and the others, faculty and students who were not regularh on the staff hut ha ' e gi en their time in making this annual possible. Elizabeth School, and ' arious homes, ha ' e been used for meeting places for the people who worked on the annual. Almost all times of the day and night have been used to work on copy, pictures, and ad ' ertising. In spite of work outside of school, and classes at night, we ha e tried to bring to you our ideas, and it is with this book that we must be judged. Now, happiK ' , we can all go back to enjo ing life.
