FERGUSON Dean of the College of Education To prepare Teachers and professional leaders to meet the challenges of the classroom on both the elementary and secondary levels is the primary endeavor of the College of Education. The College draws upon all the academic resources of the University to provide its students with aibroad general education as well as a concentrated study of their particular field of specialization. Highlighting the school year for the College of Education was the opening of its Special Education Building on the University's East Campus. With these new, improved facilities students will be able to better prepare themselves for a future in special educa- tion. 315
