ZAM Sigmci Alphci Mu ay have been the most significant year for Beta Theta Chapter of Sigma Alpha Mu. This year Sammy took great pride in winning first place in the Spooky Spectacles. On campus Sigma Alpha Mu takes an active part in many activities with men working in UCAP, Veterans Club, Sociology Club, JD Taskforce, and IFC. For the fourth year Sammy again is proud of its Bounce ketball marathon for the Louisiana Heart As- i97i m for Beats bas sociation. Several parties which will remain long revered are the Father's Mustache party, Bonnie and Clyde night, and Genesis night. During Sigma Week , Members enioyed a luncheon after attending church. Also, an Assembly was held in the Uni- versity Center Ballroom where entertainment including an auction and creative dances was presented. AXA Lambda Chi Alpha The diverse nature of the individual brothers of the Lambda Alpha Chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha united again this year to provide a fraternal bond for more than 60 members and associate-members. Lambda Chis continued to be proudly represented in all facets of campus life. The ten brothers on the Dean's List assisted in keeping the Lambda Chi grade-point average well ahead of other Greeks and above the campus all-men's average. Six men were elected to the collegiate Who's Who and thirteen men were charter initiates of UNO's chapter of Omicron Delta Kappa, Men's National Honorary Leadership Society. Six brothers were elected to the Order of Omega and six of twenty-one officers of the SGA were Lambda Chis. Brothers were represented in UCAP, Tri Beta, IFC, Phi Eta Sigma, and other campus organizations. This chapter also nicknamed the Privateer basketball court 'House of Horrors.' Participation in sports, in campus organizations, and in a wide variety of social activities helped to unite the members and associate-members of Lambda Chi Alpha into a strong brotherhood of college men.
