250 ZTA Zeta Tau Alpha Zeta Tau Alpha was founded in i898 with the purpose of intensifying friendship, fostering a spirit of love, and building a purer and nobler womanhood. The Delta Nu chapter was the first nationally affiliated sorority on the LSUNO campus. Striving to reach its goal, Zeta Tau Alpha excels in activi- ties within the fraternity, the school and the community. With active participation, the Delta Nu chapter has won many honors and awards. Zeta placed first in intrasorority volleyball. ln homecoming, Zeta's display placed first. Sisters of Zeta are found in practically all 'NO organiza- tions, often holding offices. Three sisters were elected to Who's Who Among College Students in American Univer- sities. Two Zetas were on 'NO's Homecoming Court and many Zetas are found on fraternity sweetheart courts. Delta Nu looks forward to this coming year with much enthusiasm and expectations for even a better year than the past. -J udy La nd ry President Shelley Smith Vice-President Betty Vix Corr.
