The members are active in SGA and UCAP as well as honor, service, and professional organiza- tions. AZD girls add charm, personality, and service to the Drama Department and the Starletts. The sisters of Alpha Xi Delta were proud to have one of their sisters as LSUNO Sweetheart. AZD's actively supported the Heart Fund proiect and the March of Dimes Pledge Walk. An Hawaiian Luau, a Cheese- Tasting party, and the annual Blue and Gold Ball are only a few ofthe many social activities enjoyed by Alpha Xi Delta. The Delta Epsilon chapter of AZD is proud of the contri- butions its members have made to the LSUNO campus. Through love and service we will continue to be a vital part of campus life. AZ Delta Zetci Delta Zeta founded of friendship and sisterhood, is a sorority rich in history and ideals. Theta Kappa Chapter con- tributes to its history by shining in all walks of campus life. Delta Zetas belong to many honorary services, and profes- sional organizations as well as having members on the Homecoming court and in Who's Who Among College Stu- dents in American Colleges and Universities. The sorority also stresses the importance of scholarship, receiving the highest sorority average on campus for l969- l97O, as well as being recipient of their state scholastic award. Service to the community is another valuable part of Delta Zeta for they find a feeling of accomplishment after spending an afternoon giving parties for orphans or for deaf children. With much accomplished and still much ahead, Delta Zeta, the largest national sorority, continues to strive for that which is honorable, beautiful and everlasting . . . so that they may truly walk in the light of the Flame.
