First, there was an exaggerated dramatic scene ot irnrnorality of the Viet Nam war, followed by a discussion involv- ing all participants. At the height of the discussion a radical expressed his offensive and a Marine veteran held his defensive. Large crowds were attracted to the rally because of rumors of an alleged puppy burn.

Earth Week Z i l I r This year's Earth Week was an international movement to cope . i , with environmental problems and to instill a sense of ecology in the public. ln honor of Earth Week, the ecology flag was raised along with the American and the Louisiana flags. Earth Day was marked by the attempts of individuals to show their consciousness of the pollution problem. No Horsing Around Once again UNO's Drama Department scored with its musical production ot Captain Jinlcs of the Horse Ma- rines. The original l9Ol script, though not a musical, was a melodramatic comedy that was the first Ameri- can play to use music, in the form of popular songs. Drama's Captain Jinks was adapted from the original play and relates a charming and nostalgic story in which Jinks, played by Ronald Skinner, falls in love with the opera, Aurelia, played by Patti Compton.
