Dr. james Fulton Zimmer- man, faithfully serving the University for fifteen years, thirteen of which were spent in the chair of the presidency, has proved to be admirably equipped to foresee growth and expansion and to meet its demands in a highly meritorious manner. Dr. Zimmerman has given incalculable time and effort to the problems that confront an institution that is one of the fastest growing universities in the country. His numerous visits before legislative bodies have borne fruit. The many buildings that are now under construction on the campus are the fruits of his untiring efforts to build the University to the proportions to which its potentialities give promise. A favorite with the student body, President Zim- merman truly and sincerely deserves the high esteem in which he is held, both on the campus and through- out the State. s 12
