The creation of the office of Executive Assistant to the President has increased administrative efficiency greatly. And tlie formation of the College of I ' ine .Vrts. composed of the architec- ture, art, dramatic art, and music departments, has made it possihle for the Lniversitv to offer general cultural tralninir under a unified arrangement. Opportunities for Federal aid under PWA have been fullv met. The con- struction of the State Public Health Laboratoi-v, a new Heating Plant, the Student Union, and a new Library under a Federal project is almost com- plete. Thus a sum of ahnost Syocooo, 45 ' - ( of which was a grant, made it possible for the L niversit ' to expand its phvsical plant to tlie point where it now lias sufficient floor space to operate efficiently.
