A large ballroom in the building is one of the fine achievements of the archi- tect, Mr. John Gaw Meem. Dr. Newsom, Dean Clauve, Dean Bostwick, and Mr. Fewell have con- tributed their mature advice in planning the details of operation and man- agement. Perhaps only the members of the committee can fully appreciate the extent of our debt to these faculty members for their time and effort. The architect, contractor, in fact, all ha -e contributed much toward making us proud of our buiUling. An idea begun four years ago, fostered by students who have since been graduated, has cuhiiinated in the construction of a building which it is hoped will provide a common meeting place for student activities. Great prob- lems of administration are yet to be faceil, and we are confident that we can dispose of these problems in an efficient and harmonious manner. 4:-
