Continuing his series of gifts, Mr. fllachay has, during the past Jive years, contributed funds to enlarge the School of fllines, to perfect its equipment, greatly to increase the income of this school, to enlarge our Stadium, to refurnish the Trdining Quarters, to establish the Ufalther Li- brary of Desert Geology, to add rare :volumes to the Unffuersity Library, and fnally, to erect, equip and furnish the beautiful MOCkH'I' Science Hall, one of the jinest buildings within the State of Nevada .... .lt has been, therefore, the desire of the 193 1 ffrtenizsia stajf, as representatifves of the student body of this Unffuersity, to build into its yearbook a jftting tribute to him who has built into our school such splendid, lasting gifts as declarations of true friendship to our commonwealth. 1 t is with this aim uppermost in mind, then, that the stajf respectfully dedicates the 1931 zfrtemisia to Mr. Clarence Hungerford fllackay, NefUada's greatest friend and benefactor.
