education there is an ever-increasing demand for well- prepared teachers, to meet this demand, the placement bureau gives gratis service to school officials seeking teachers. a program of follow-up on teachers who have been placed is maintained by the bureau, to ascertain the success of students and to give them the benefit of whatever help the college can offer during their early teaching careers, all student teaching is as- signed and supervised by the bureau. each semester, the placement bureau offers many students teaching opportunities, shown discussing a position are anne under- wood and del danker, head of the bureau. prospective teachers, supervisors, and administrators re- ceive the opportunity to study teaching under actual conditions in the a. o. thomas training school, the school is organized and conducted so as to provide the best educational opportunities for the girls and boys privileged to attend, a staff of highly trained and experienced super- visors, each of whom has demonstrated superior ability in his field, conduct the training school. del danker margaret mcclure edna nigh blanche skinner a.b., m.a. a.b. a.b., a.m. a.b., a.m. Page 23
