EDWARD LUNDAK, Director of Scholarships and Financial Aids, supplied information and screened applicants for scholarships and loans. CURTIS SIEMERS, Coordinator of Student Ac- tivities, checked eligibility for extracurricular activities, advised student organizations, served as Student Activities Fund treasurer and organ- ized the freshman orientation program. Sorenson EDWARD JANIKE, Director of Extension Divi- sion, regulated evening and off-campus classes and correspondence courses while directing special services available to community groups. EDWARD BRYAN, Director of Housing, head- ed the central housing office and developed sub- stantiating figures for future student housing. SAMUEL FUENNING, Medical Director of the University Health Services, organized health education policies and the medical program. FRANK HALLGREN, Director of Placement, aid- ed students in making post-graduation plans and co-ordinated interviews with companies. A library of color slides organized by the PUBLIC RELATIONS DEPARTMENT assisted Builders, the Alumni Association and other or- ganizations in advertising and promoting the University. The collection of nearly 600 slides featured research, teaching, buildings and student activities on the campus. Bulletin Board , the staff memo, presented Board of Regents decisions to NU faculty mem- bers. Extending additional campus-centered in- formation, a Speakers Service filled requests in all areas ranging from music to agriculture. FRANK LUNDY, Director of University Librar- ies, managed Love Library, the college and de- partment branch libraries, and the new one and one-quarter million dollar East Campus Library. BRUCE I-I. NICOLL, Director of University of Nebraska Press and University Publications, published University bulletins, books dealing with Nebraska and the paperbound study series. C. BERTRAND SCHULTZ, Director of State Mu- seum, researched vertebrate paleontology and coordinated the museum complex of over two and one-half million catalogued specimens.
