Not Pictured: Mary Puccinelli Rivers of Anaconda is majoring in Physical Education with an emphasis in Sports Medicine and a minor in Biological Science. Mary is currently a member of the Montana Athletic Trainers' Association. Her campus activities include KDP. KZN. and intramurals. Mary was a member of the women's basketball team and has been on the Dean's list for four years. She has been Vice President of the WMC Athletic Trainers' Association. Mary has received scholarships from the WMC Foundation. AAUW. and the Cobb Foundation. Kip Ryan of Columbia Falls is a Physical Education major with an emphasis in Athletic Coaching and a minor in Biology. He has played varsity football for four years and served as team captain his senior year. Kip was also active in intramural sports. He is a member of KDP. served as a Resident Assistant for two years and was Homecoming King his sophomore year. He was a recipient of the Robert Puhek Scholarship. Alora Stepan of Butte is a double major in Art and Elementary Education. While attending Western, she has served two terms as an ASWMC Senator. In 1983, she received the Terry Watters Leadership Scholarship for her service to the Senate. She has also received a Western Foods Scholarship and a scholarship from the Butte-Silver Bow chapter of DAR. Alora has been active in MHA. KDP. has served on the CHINOOK staff, and was a Resident Assistant. She has also served as a freshman Peer Advisor and has been on the Dean’s List each semester. Alora has done numerous art projects for WMC. such as illustrating the Montana Rural Education Library Manual. She was the winner of WMC's 1983 Christmas card contest and has been a two-year recipient of a Mary Baker Emerick Art Scholarship. Jackie Vuckovich of Anaconda is a Physical Education major with an emphasis in Sports Medicine and a minor in Business. She was president of the WMC Athletic Trainers' Association and also of Kappa Delta Pi. She has been active in Kappa Zeta Nu and participated in intramural volleyball, basketball, softball, and flag football. Jackie received a Kappa Delta Pi scholarship and was on the Dean's List. She is currently a member of the Beaverhead Ambulance Service. 21

I Yvonne M. (Wenger) Hull of Dillon attended Western in 1955 and received a teaching certificate. She re-enrolled in 1981 to acquire a major in Elementary Education. Married to Frank E. Hull, also a Western graduate, she has been an active member of the Dillon community while raising six children. Some of her activities include treasurer of the Shakespeare Club and advisor for Beaverhead County High School Title I program. She received a Special Service Award from the Dillon Jay-ceens. Her humanitarian activities include assistance in rehabilitating the handicapped. Addie Haugen, a junior from Missoula, is an Elementary Education major with a minor in English. She is involved in campus drama productions. Activities Board, and KZN. Addie has been active in MHA. band. Dillon’s community theatre and orchestra. She has received the Cobb Foundation and AAUW Scholarships. A r i f i I V V Marcia Oursland of Somer is a Business Education major with an emphasis on computers. She was a member of IVCF and was treasurer for two years. She was also a member of SPURS and was involved in various intramural sports. Marcia was a member of the Western Spirit for two years and on the honor roll throughout her college career. She has received the Alumni and Western Women Scholarships. Lesley Pagett of Seeley Lake is a Business Education major and a Physical Education minor. She has been involved in varsity track and intramurals. Lesley has been an active member of SPURS. Student Senate and Can-tabiliers. She is a member of KDP and her name appears on the Dean’s list. She has received numerous scholarships while attending Western. including WMC Booster Club. Business Scholarship, and Delta Kappa Gamma. 20
