WHO’S WHO Honors Fifteen WMC Students Jane Briney of Denton is a Physical Education major with an emphasis in Athletic Coaching. She is also an English major and a history minor. She played two years of varsity basketball and has been involved in intramurals all four years. Jane was a member of Spurs and Kappa Delta Pi. for which she served as historian. She was also a member of Kappa Zeta Nu and was a peer group advisor. Jane received a Booster Club Scholarship and the Western Women's Scholarship in 1983. Katie Campbell of Butte is majoring in Human Resource Management with an emphasis in Institutional Study. She has been an active member of the Activities Board for three years and a member of the Student Senate. Katie has been a cheerleader. Homecoming queen candidate, and a WESCOLITE photographer and ad salesperson. She was also involved in intramurals and served as an Orientation and Outdoor Wilderness Experience leader. Rhonda Campbell of Coffee Creek is majoring in Physical Education with an emphasis in coaching. She is also a Business Education major. She had been involved in KDP. KZN and Western Spirits. an organization headed by Dr. Thomas to serve as hostesses for various events. As a member of Spurs, she received recognition for Spur of the Month and Spur of the Semester. Rhonda participated in varsity basketball for one year, intramurals, and IVCF. She was a Resident Assistant and has received Dean’s List recognition. 16

Mona Fisher of Conrad is majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Reading. She has participated in intramural football, volleyball, and softball. An active member of KDP. Mona is a delegate to the 1984 Convocation in Montreal. She has also served as KDP secretary. Mona was the recipient of the Heisey Award and an academic scholarship. She is the mother of three sons and actively participates as a Den Leader for Cub Scout Pack 62. Jeff Ferderer of Great Falls is a Physical Education major with a minor in English. He has been very active in track and cross country at Western. participating in three marathons, and helping to organize the 1983 Centennial Cup Run. In 1982 and 1983. Jeff placed fourth in the Frontier Conference in the 10.000 m run and also fifth in the 5.000 m run in 1982. He coached track at Parkview Jr. High in Dillon and Sr. League Baseball in Great Falls where he was designated Westside All Star Coach.” In the fall of 1982. Jeff toured Europe on a bicycle. Jeff was KDP Vice President in 1982-83 and President in 1983-84. In 1980. he was the recipient of a WMC Foundation Scholarship. Jeff is also the proud father of two daughters—Jennifer. 6. and Tiffany. 4. Lonnie Collinsworth is an Art and History major from Deer Lodge. He served as Student Senate Vice President in 1983-84. He has been an active member of KDP and the Activities Board. Lonnie has been on the Dean's List, was a Homecoming king candidate. has played on many championship intramural teams, and has served as a student manager for On Campus Living. JoAnn Eslick of Bigfork is an Elementary Education major with an English minor. She has been an active member as well as vice president of the Gargoyles. She has also played numerous roles, including leading roles, in WMC drama productions. JoAnn was a member of the Student Senate and has done exceptional work raising money for the Alumni Association in their annual phon-athon. JoAnn also served on recent search committees for drama and music professors at Western. 17
