President's Message A COLLEGE EDUCATION should develop your character and make you a better citizen. It should give you a better understanding of international affairs; it should develop habits of scientific thought. A college education should enable you to understand the speech and writings of others and aid you in expressing your own thoughts. It should help you to attain a satisfactory emotional adjustment in this troubled world and give you knowledge that will contribute to your health and happiness. It is in college that you learn how to think straight and come to appreciate art, literature, and music. A college education is worth money. It fits you for a useful and satisfying vocation.
