DEDICATION w E PAY tribute in this book to one who has served the Normal College for many years. Cooperative faculty colleague, faithful friend and advisor, loyal college booster—these phrases describe but mildly the characteristics of the man we have chosen to honor through this dedication. Throughout his long years of service on the Normal College faculty, he has held a place in the affection of the students. Few of us who have earned credits in the science department will ever want to forget the sense of fairness, the patient understanding, and the cooperation which were so characteristic of his classes. It is a certainty that those of us who go out into the teaching profession will benefit greatly from the association we have had with him.
