TUDE T COUNCIL The Student Council this year, despite the usual difficulties, was able to make several concrete advancements. Most important, the All-Student Constitution Was rewritten with the intention of broadening representation and coordinating student activities. A new orientation program was instituted with some encouraging success, and a revision of the activity fee was effected, making the funds more responsive to student needs and wishes. The method of selecting KCU candidates for Who's Who was also reconsidered and a better defined and more equitable set of standards was drawn up. Considering the Whole situation, encouragement is to be found in the progress that was made. Hugh Haight, Carl Lindgren, and Jim Salter provided the drive and the brainwork for most of this legislation. Left: Mrs. Stanley Printz, Dean of Student Activities. Center: Win Thurman, President, Student Council. Right: Mr. Elvin C. Sayre, Dean of Students. :L .1
