ADAMS The Engineers Club is one of the most democratic organizations on the eampusg it is essentially the meeting place of all engineers, regardless of department, class., social afliliations, or scholastic standing. Each student who enrolls in the College of Engineering automatically becomes a member. All student activities of the Engineering School function 'under three subsidiary organizations: the St. Pat's Board, the Sliannroek Staff, and the Campus Squad. The Board, which is composed of thirteen members, has active charge of all arrangements for the annual St. Patfs celebration. 4 The Shamrock Staff' portrays the happenings of the year in vivid form in the annual publication known as the Shamrock , The Cauipus S nad is the discialinar or anization and was organized to Jer- fl gl n . suade recalcitrant mules and ullC2ldClllSH to respect and uphold the traditions of the campus, held sacred by the engineers. b The Engineei-'s Club, now as in the past, ranks high in accomplishment and service. It is always a leader in student activities, both all-University and Engineer- ing. Glancing back over the past thirty years, one finds the EHgillCC1',S Club in the midst of every major project, perhaps the most outstanding being the erection of the first hlearzlif-rs on Rollins Field in 1905. The success of every undertaking in which, the :club has taken part was made possible only by the close co-operation and hearty support of every' member in the College. It is through the medium of the Engineer's Club that every student in the College of Engineering becomes an integral part of one harmonious group which always holds in mind thelone ideal for which every student should strive, a greater Missouri .
