Suddenly my old friend, Mr. Azimuth, came up, slapping me on the shoulder, I said, XVell, old Phi, you have won the Tan Bcte contest for scientific cribbing of .V golf scores. So we walked over to the road, and there sat my brand new Carnot Cycle, baboon tires and Highhat Snubbers and everytl1in'. Wlell, I just jumped .lt right into the ole saddle and was oil' in a cloud of boiler scale. ww all I li 1' ll I just shoved her rigfht up to 0.53 miles per hour, and in about three hours l rounded the corners of the Brewer Field I-louse. I nearly made the Varsity-Basket I ball players forget their game but many miles had to be COVC1'Cd before dawn. It was l just growing dark when I pulled my trusty steed to a halt in front of the Engineer- ing Building. They had flood lights on the Quad and the reception committee composed largely of Meridians and Asyinptotes were on hand to congratulate me on my record breaking trip. The Professors had formed in a line and were handing out little Bluebooks to all the younger Engineers. At the end of the second day after ll blowing a couple gaskets I sighted the Engineering Memorial. I pulled my trusty 1' steed down to a halt and got down and whipped out my slide rule, extracted a few 'yy square roots and fed my trusty steed much to the amusement of some passing Coeds. ll. yu' The things to which I owe my success are Lucky Strikes. They keep you thin ill so that you can see with both eyes through any keyhole. It has been a great pleasure ly to tell you eollich poys about my trip.
