I , new-,tuv I am happy to take this opportunity to extend a farewell and my best wishes to the Michigan Law School Class of 1965. You will probably find it hard to believe right now that your three years in Law School comprise avery short span of time. By the time you return for your 25th Reunion in 1989, however, I think you'1l agree that the training period was very short for the multitude of professional tasks you will have been called upon to perform. The surprising thing is that you will find that the training, short though it is, has equipped you admirably to perform those tasks. The members of the faculty who have served you take vicarious pride in your accomplishments. I know that they will receive from you and from your accomplishments a full measure of justifiable pride.
