The Student Bar Association was found ed by the students of the school to promote scholarship, to further interest in the prac- tice of law, to serve as liaison between stu- dent and faculty, and to initiate 0r supervise student activities, both social and profes- sional. The Association also maintains relations with the county, state, and national bar associations as well as with student organ- izations in other law schools. It is a charter member of the American Law Student Asso- ciation, which is sponsored by the American Bar Association. Each law student is a member of the Student Bar Association. The organization has its office in Hutchins Hall.
