I '--' K .y Grientation Confused freshmen. transfers, and readmitted students invaded Ulowell for orientation beginning on June 2nd. The Towers was their place of habita- tion for the overnight stay. Entertainment was pro- vided by Ed Priest and dis- plays of clubs and organiza- tions were held on the sec- ond floor of the building. Of course, registration was a i980 hassle, and the forbidden parties occured, but the biggest dilemma was how to eat the cafeteria food without becoming ill. Enrollment increased im- mensely this year, as you may have noticed. A lot of new faces filled the cam- pus. On The Merrimack I in Graduation occured The dorms emptied Traffic slowed The temperature rose HUMIDITY It was Summertime in Lowell Barren of student sound. The Campus sleeps Dreaming of September and it's influx of new life. - The Entertainment- Watching Sailboats, Roller Skating in the Park Picnicing, or Escaping to New Hampshire for Air.
