Assuming philosophy to be the pursuit of wisdom, the pursuit of truth, and education to be society ' s instrument for bringing into being a higher and better expression of itself, it is clear that educa- tion ' s main responsibility is the improvement of men. If you now seek to improve the minds of others, you must always be open to change and new values. The world and all its contents are not in a state of being, but always in the process of becoming. The world we live in needs supremely healthy, fully functioning people as never before and it is the task of education to produce them.
