SENIOR CLASS ADVISOR We have indeed been fortunate in having Miss Gourville as our friend and advisor. In so many ways has she made these four short years here at Lowell a more happy, memorable experience! She has been keenly concerned with our progress from the start, and has been so patient and unselfish in offering helpful suggestions to carry us over difficult places. Our problems have been her problems. Her understanding, en- couragement, and idealism have been most inspiring. She has not only worked with us, she has played with us, and has been one of us in all of our activities and fes- tivities. This comradeship has brought every one much happiness and jollity! We love and admire her greatly. We can only hope that she fully realizes how deeply grateful we are to her for what she has been to us — teacher, guide, inspiration, — pal. 1939 THE KNOLL
