This presenTaTion chronicled The high- IighTs of Deborah Shapiro, and Rolf Bjelke as They sailed Their AO fooT sTeel keTch pasT Svalbard, To The norTherly mosT laTiTude ever reached in a pri- vaTe sailing crafT. They Then Turned souTh To Greenland, Through The Panama Canal To The N Agn . 1 .aaa EasTer Island, PiTcairn island, Chilean PaTagonia, To Cape Horn, Then on To AnTarcTica, crossing The AnTarcTic Circle, norTh of Adelaide Island. The journey Took MO days, and They were meT by The harshesT of weaTher, below freezing Tem- peraTures, and rnenTal and physical exhausTion.
