I YOU ' VE GOTTA LOVE IT . . . The University of Maryland experience begins with freshman orientation and your first tour of campus. The new students gain a sense of pride because they are joining a college campus full of beauty and opportunity. The Georgian architectural style of the buildings adds a touch of tradition to UMCP and enforces the idea that this is the epitome of a college campus. Behind the walls of the old traditional buildings are updated facilities for research, education, athletics and administration.
