PATCH Few men in the brief span of four years have exerted as lasting an influence upon the students of the Uni- versity of Maryland as the present professor of Military Science and Tactics. By his words, actions, and man- ner, he has won the respect and admiration of all with whom he has come in contact. A gentleman at all times he has shown himself a man worthy not only of his calling but also of the confidence of the student body.
