message for terra mariae 1957 As members of the senior class in the Univer- sity of Maryland School of Pharmacy, you are about to graduate. This means that you will be entering upon a new life in which your responsi- bilities will be far greater than ever before. It is true that you have spent the past four years in receiving a formal education, but your educa- tion is not complete. You have been preparing for a professional career in pharmacy, one of the health sciences and professions, but your education up to the present time has been preparation. J recommend a program of reading, of attending seminars, of participating in association meetings and profes- sional discussions, for in this manner you will continue to be educated throughout your entire professional career. The faculty, staff, and administration of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy join me in wishing every one of you success, health, and happiness in your chosen profession. Noel E. Foss, Dean
